well I went out for a simple 4 Hour - 220 Mile Ride. I took I-17 up to the Carefree Hwy, then headed to Winkenburg. I then cruised up to Yarnell and over to Skull Valley. I was going to head back to 89 to continue up to Prescott passing through the White Spars. However, I decided to stick to Iron Springs Road to ride to Prescott. I hit a bit of rain between Prescott & Prescott Valley with a bit of Hail mixed in. It only lasted 10 to 15 minutes. Enough that I was happy to be wearing some rain gear. I headed toward I-17 to head back to Phx. Traffic wasn't too bad... just enough to keep me in line. Here are a few pic's from my ride... This spot was just North of Yarnell. Gotta Love the Storm Clouds in the background... This was taken approx 6 miles before Prescott along Iron Springs Road. What caught my attention was the Stars & Stripes flying on top of the Rock formation... it's hard to make out in the photo... I'd stopped at the Mall in Prescott to slip on the rain gear... This one is looking East from the reopened "Sunset Point" Rest Area that approx 50-60 miles North of Phoenix... Bike at Sunset Point Rest Area... Check out the Cool Decals that John from Decals-n-Designs made for me...
