A couple of weeks ago, Lee posted to see if anyone would be interested in riding up to watch the Cardinals during one of their Training Camp Practices... Last weekend 5 of us ventured North for a short little ride...
Below are a few of the photo's taken during the ride. To see all of the photo's on Photobucket, Click Here.
We all decided to meet at the 5 & Diner that is on 16th Street North of Camelback... 4 of us were able to make it to breakfast... one over slept & met us in Wickenburg. Those in attendance for this little jaunt were: Lee, Chuck, Steve, and myself... and Jeff...
Our late sleeper was waiting for us when we arrived in Wickenburg sporting his new leathers...
Our Northern route would take us through Wickenburg, up Yarnell Hill, through the White Spars, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon and ending in Flagstaff...
Here's Chuck & Lee catching up with us in Jerome where we pulled over for a short break...
OK... someone needs to have a talk with this young man...
As we were sitting in Jerome, this guy went past us... hopefully whoever they were going after was all right...
As we were approaching Jerome, we saw the Smoke from a Forest Fire that was South of Jerome. We did not see any signs of a Controlled Fire...
Leaving Jerome...
Jesus... Look at the Size of that Can...
Approaching Sedona...
Sedona's Rush Hour Traffic...
North side of Sedona...
Cutting through Oak Creek Canyon...
We saw plenty of other bikes out on the road... it was a Beautiful Day!
Entering Flagstaff...
The Misfit's: Jeff, Lee, Chuck, and Steve...
A couple shot's from the practice itself...
The most playing Matt will see all Season...
The original plan was to take Lake Mary Road down to Hwy 87, over to Strawberry, Payson, then back to Phx. However, by the time we finished lunch, it was already 3:00 PM. A couple of the guy's mentioned they were going to head back down I-17 so they could be home by Dinner time. To keep the group together, we agreed to take the same route...
One last shot as we headed home...
It was a Great Day of riding spent with some Great Guy's...
