Below are a few shots for the AZ Rat Pack's ride on the Devil Hwy - Route 191 in Eastern AZ.
Meet-up at BK in East Mesa... If I recall correctly, there were 15 or 16 Bikes.
What a Great Turnout... Although I was told it was a larger Group last year.
Rush Hour Traffic pass the Apache Gold Casino in San Carlos... some sort of accident up ahead that had the road closed. We didn't have to wait too long.
Lunch stop in Safford... Scott was a bit excited to eat and has decided to share his Salsa with Michael.
After Lunch getting ready to hit the road again...
Mark, Jerry and Scott waiting for the rest of the Group to catch up. I think this is inClifton Morenci.
Break to discuss the Fantastic Curvy Road that we just traveled...
The Lovely Storm we were riding into... Time to put on the Rain Gear.
At first when I came around the bend, I though "Holy Crap, there's still Snow on the ground". So I pulled over for a picture. Big mistake... it was hail and ice... pretty damn slippery. It took me 15 minutes to get my bike back on the road. I though for sure someone would be helping pick my bike up. A couple of the guy's stopped as they went by to give me a hand. Just as they were getting off of their bikes I was able to get back on the road...
Stop in Alpine... first stopping spot pass the rain...
I don't need no stinking rain gear...
Michael is Ready for Take Off...
Scott had issues finding some sheep, had to make due with what was available...
For once, there was a line for the Men's Room. Michael being the resourceful guy that he is, he headed for the Ladies Room...
I had a Great Time. It was a blast meeting everyone. I will be going back on this Route again... however, I will not be waiting until next years ride. ;D
